The stupid things I've done thread

*Got scammed out of somthing by dropping it to "see", a purple bow as well xD
*Botherd to report a graphical glitch to a-net, wasting time is fun!
*Bought some coffers of whispers.
*ran everywhere in pre sear till i eventually figured out map travel. xD
*Thought "this game is tiny?!?", pre sear wasnt the whole map .

AND you can use the space bar to loot stuff too! You just have to walk up to it until it gets the little green circle around it then hit spacebar. I found that out as a happy accident. Just be careful if there are enemies around as you will auto attack on them instead of loot...kind of silly to me...grab the gold or kill the charr shaman? Silly Mesmer :P

Some funny/stupid things I've done:

-Tried running from Piken's Square to Nolani Academy at level 10 with level 4 henchman because I didn't understand the Mission concept.

-Thought I could still solo after the Searing.

-For the longest time I thought the little bucket at the end in your inventory slots was for some amazing box that dropped that I could fit tons of loot in...until someone promptly informed me it was a trash can.

-Kept all my old hero weapons in my inventory sucking up space because I could not figure out how to destroy them for the above reason.

#1 i'v done. never learned many many things about the game. Space Bar Attacks!?? didn't know that.

#2. playing on a dell pc with a bad outlet plug, everytime the power cord moves the pc shuts off. - near completed elite mission.4 hours ended by a rub of my knee.

#3. bought borat and fantastic four the dvd movies. (not gw related but still stupid.)

I was merching some equipment I had gotten during a vanquish in GW:EN while on Teamspeak with a friend. As I merching I'm talking and I'm saying "skelk claw, goodbye, inscribed chakram, goodbye, req 13 crappy sword, goodbye, req 9 voltaic spear, goodbye, etc etc"

My friend says,"did you just say Voltaic Spear?"
"Yeah.......why?"
"What req was it?"
"9 or 10 I think, I dunno, I just merched it"
"DUMBA$$!!!"

1.used and ele sword build with MoR, conjure, and PBAoE, but no self healing. had great offense, and is great now that i added glyph of restoration, but it took me forever to figure that out. I now have about 5.5k deaths.
2.kept wasting money trying to start guilds im too lazy to run. lost about 50k so far.

way back before i learned of ecto trading, i bought thingsby trading ppl in increments of 100k and took collateral. dumbest thing ever as i got scammed around 1 mil doing this.

the day i bought the game, i thought "im gonna be a ranger/elementalist!". until the maguuma jungle, i was a flare-spamming ranger :P (always wondered why i had energy problems)

since expertise didnt change the amount of energy reduction shown on the SKILL, i thought it was broken. didnt have any points in expertise until southern shiverpeaks.

ive merched a dye or two, and i also sold a black dye to a friend for like 500g and a mini whiptail.

i literally wore LA armor until the last mission in prophecies. MAX ARMOR FTW

spent about an hour or so trying to find EVERY LAST FRIGGIN MONSTER IN OLD ASCALON just to say i had "vanquished it". i was level 9. it was normal mode.

thats all for now, im sure ill think of more later. thread necromancy is epic awesome.

-yea i was like too for my ranger/ele, but I was using meteor shower and running and using inferno :P
-Back when green farming was all the rage, I was at merch and accidently sold the Vera when it was worth like 80k, doh!
